To pay the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) mobile registration tax, follow these steps:
1. Calculate the amount of tax you need to pay by visiting the PTA website: https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/drs/auth/login
2. Click on the “Device Registration” tab and enter your device’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number to check the tax amount.
3. Once you have calculated the amount of tax, visit any nearest bank branch or use online banking services to pay the tax.
4. Provide your mobile phone number and IMEI number during the tax payment process.
5. After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation SMS from PTA.
6. Wait for the tax payment to be updated in the PTA’s Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS).
7. Once your device is registered and tax is paid, you can continue using your mobile phone without any interruption.
Note: Failure to pay the mobile registration tax can result in the blocking of your device. It is recommended to pay the tax on time to avoid any inconvenience.
